We played at Marisa and Ed’s wedding last Saturday.
It was such a fun crowd. They totally went off!
Here’s some pics…
This was the first time we have played at Ripples, Chowder Bay.
The upside was that the staff were great, and so was the food and service.
The downside was that we were not allowed to play outdoors at this venue – such a shame.
Yesterday I played at Kaz and Tony’s wedding on the Bennelong Lawn in the Sydney Botanic Gardens, overlooking the Opera House.
The bride and groom wrote their own wedding vows, and they are the best I have ever heard.
They were so personal, but very humerous as well.
They wanted their wedding to be so personalised, that they paid for a close friend of their’s to complete the marriage celebrant’s course so that they didn’t have a “stranger” marrying them.
They lucked out, too, with a glorious sunny afternoon.
I am a big fan of the backyard wedding and this was the venue for Selina and Lachlan’s wedding last Saturday.
Menangle was a bit of a drive, and I almost ran out of petrol getting there, but Selina and Lachlan have a beautiful home and backyard with a marvelous outlook over their back fence to tranquil farmland.
